As we close out 2025, we’re proud to highlight one of the year’s most meaningful collaborations: our work with Galp’s Innovation Team on their wind assets in Portugal. Since April 2024, Sereema has been supporting Galp in unlocking deeper insights into the performance of their Senvion MM92 turbines. This project was not just about deploying Windfit — it was about demonstrating how data-driven analysis can elevate operational strategy.
From the start, Galp made it clear that they wanted to test not only the tool, but also the depth of our analysis and our ability to truly understand their wind farm. Our work focused on “blind detection” of changes and deviations, turbine performance comparison, use case development, and uncovering AEP improvement opportunities.
The collaboration between Galp’s technical team and Sereema’s experts pushed us to go beyond standard analysis. Galp entered the project with strong hypotheses about turbine issues and was eager to see whether our insights aligned — and they did.
Project Evolution
Thanks to the results and the strong alignment between both teams, the Windfit project will now transition from the Innovation Team to the Asset Management and Performance Teams — a major milestone that reflects trust, validation, and readiness for the next operational phase.
